Abstract

The article gives a synopsis of the main features of Arabic grammar, including morphology, inflection and syntax. Its viewpoint is that of the general linguistics which can help to bring together theoretical positions of general linguists and scholars of Arabic and to work out a common approach to the structure of Semitic languages.
