The Journal is guided by international standards of publication ethics (including the COPE principles and the document Principles of Transparency & Best Practice for Scholarly Publication) and complies with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation.
The Editorial Board declares that its decisions are not influenced by the founders or any other external organizations. Decisions on whether to accept manuscripts for publication are made independently by the Journal and are based exclusively on scholarly criteria, the significance and topicality of the work, the reliability of the results presented, and the manuscript’s compliance with the Journal’s thematic scope.
The Editorial Office ensures impartial and objective consideration of all submitted materials and does not allow discrimination against authors on social, ethnic, religious, political, or any other grounds. The Editorial Office prevents conflicts of interest for all participants in the editorial and publishing process; if circumstances exist that may affect objectivity, the participant must disclose the conflict of interest and be removed from handling the relevant manuscript. The Editorial Office does not accept any remuneration from authors, whether explicit or implicit, and does not permit abuses in the performance of its duties.
The Editorial Office ensures the confidentiality of materials submitted to the Journal: information, data, and ideas obtained during work with a manuscript are not disclosed to third parties and are not used for personal purposes without the author’s written permission, except in cases provided for by law and by the established editorial review procedures.
The Journal counteracts violations of research and publication ethics, including plagiarism, self-plagiarism, fabrication and falsification of data, duplicate publications, and the parallel submission of the same manuscript to different journals. Upon receipt of a manuscript, a similarity check is carried out, including through the “Antiplagiat” system; however, final conclusions are made on the basis of expert assessment of the materials, rather than solely on a “threshold originality percentage”. If a substantial volume of improper borrowing is identified, the Editorial Office rejects the manuscript for publication.
The Editorial Office monitors the observance of copyright and the lawful use of materials, illustrations, and other copyrighted works, guided by the terms of the license agreement concluded with the authors.
If significant errors, unreliable data, or ethical violations are identified at any stage of the editorial process or after publication, the Journal acts in accordance with international practice and the nature of the situation, including the publication of corrections and clarifications, an expression of concern, retraction, and other measures.
The author bears primary responsibility for the novelty and reliability of the research results. Deliberately false, distorted, or falsified statements are unacceptable. The author confirms personal participation in the research and in preparing the text and agrees, if necessary, to substantiate the authenticity of such participation by means generally accepted in scholarly practice.
The author guarantees the originality of the results presented and the correct attribution of all borrowings: any borrowed fragments, ideas, statements, and data must be accompanied by proper references to the original source. Plagiarism and self-plagiarism in any form, including unattributed quotations, improper paraphrasing, and appropriation of others’ research results, are unacceptable.
Only persons who have made a substantial contribution to the conception, development, execution, and/or interpretation of the research may be listed as co-authors. The inclusion of persons who did not participate in the work is unacceptable. All authors approve the final version of the manuscript and share equal responsibility for its content. The manuscript acknowledges the contribution of all persons who influenced the research; data obtained privately may not be used without the written permission of the source author.
Submitting the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal, as well as submitting an already published text as a new work, constitutes a violation of ethical standards and is grounds for removing the manuscript from consideration. If a substantial error or inaccuracy is discovered at the review stage or after publication, the author must promptly notify the Editorial Office.
The author indicates their affiliation and, where applicable, the source of research funding. When submitting a manuscript, the author confirms that the work has not been published and has not been accepted for publication in another scholarly journal. When citing materials published in the Journal, the Editorial Office requests that a link (full URL) to the Journal’s official website be provided. Articles previously posted by the authors on personal or public platforms as a preprint may be considered, provided that such platforms are not affiliated with other publishers and do not imply “journal” publication.
